If you enjoy the the wind on your face and open sky before you, you have come to a good place to find the romance and flavor of the West.

The study of history is an ongoing fascination for me. I was blessed to have an American History class in college taught by a man who saw the study of history as a study of people and their decisions. How did their decisions affect their own lives and the lives of those around them? As I look at the way that people lived and worked, it reveals the things that shaped their lives. Work, housing, food and religion are fundamentals for people at any time. So in this blog one of the areas I will be sharing with you is the day-to-day lives of people of the West during the 1800s. I love that time of our history, especially the romanticized view of it.

I write that you may be a part of that time and place of the great American West. The land of larger than life men who braved the harsh elements and work of the frontier; and, the women, who rode with them, is the stories of my novels...

Check back often and enjoy!

About Me

My photo
I love the wind in my face, the open sky before me, the romance and flavor of the West, but, most of all, our loving and living God, who created it all. I love how He works out His plans in the realm of human events, which is His Story. I have been blessed with a gift: a compulsion to write Historical and present-day novels set in the American West that demonstrate His power to transform ordinary people into true heroes and heroines. I am just a scribe really. I find the joy of participating in the creation of inspirational fiction indescribable. May our Lord Jesus Christ receive all of the credit and be glorified.
