ABOUT ME

Born in Spur, Texas, to a large family that includes multi-generational Texans, I have lived in the American West and traveled on its roads and trails. Along the way, I have come to know a multitude of hard-working and courageous people—each worthy of a novel. You’ll meet bits and pieces of them in my characters. In addition to writing, I love to read (about 300 books a year on average). My favorite book is the Bible. I am honored to host a women's weekly Bible study group in my home. I have traveled to many parts of the world, from urban Europe to impoverished areas of the Philippines, to share the Good News. Above all things, I enjoy teaching people about Christ and his unconditional love for each of us.
